September 11th, 2001. 

It's not about political affiliation.  It's not about whether you lean left or right.  For 228 years, Americans have declared themselves a free nation where they can practice whatever religion, political view, sexual orientation - walk side-by-side in whatever skin color was given them and whatever chromosomes shuffled into their makeup making them a woman, or a man, or someone in between???

"What!"  you say?  Equality?  Sexual orientation and race equality?  You want to remind me when black people or women were declared worthy to vote?  You want to tell me that you are still denied BENEFITS or EQUAL SAY in American Society Today?  You want to tell me that you are held back in America because your skin is dark, you are female, you are homosexual, your party isn't currently in office?

Stand the FUCK UP.  Wipe your eyes and pull up your pants.  Take your chin and lift it up - even if it was punched that last time you lifted it.  Remember that thousands of lives were lost to INDISCRIMINATE destruction of life on 9/11/01 in New York City, USA.  There was no smart-bomb that took out only blacks, or whites, or women, or Jews, or Muslims,  or gays, or rich stock brokers, or parking attendants.  What was taken from them was their LIVES because they happened to be in a certain building on the right day at the right time.  Put your argument aside when it comes to the defense of this nation and the way that you feel about 9/11.  We leave plenty of forums in this county open to your struggle to advance whatever cause you like.

Do NOT FORGET that as you read THIS, there are American soldiers of every color, sex, creed, and orientation sleeping tonight in countries that you couldn't point out on a map.  All because they signed-on to carry on the tradition of going into wherever our founding government led or current government to see fit to commit their lives.
